Mabel Orgelman was a feminist leader and New York chairman of Silver Legion Civic Committee. She was chairman of the New York state Anti-Vivisection Committee and vice-president of the Vegetarian Society of New York. She led a crusade against the Kosher ritual slaughtering of poultry.
Miss Orgelman was of German parentage and was born in Conn.
