The Virginian was published from 1955 to 1958 and focused on White racial issues and the jewish Question. It started as a newspaper with the subtitle, "Virginia's State's Rights Monthly Paper." In September 1957 it changed to a periodical format with a cover image similar to Time magazine. The magazine was ostensibly published by The Virginia League of Newport News, Virginia.
The publication was edited by William Stephenson and issued by Lacy Jeffries. It was financed by Harold Arrowsmith of Baltimore.
