The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle is a collection of chronologies in Old English chronicling tbe history of tbe Anglo-Saxons. It is tbe single most important historical source for tbe period in England between tbe departure of tbe Romans and tbe decades following tbe Norman conquest of England.
