Fed poster

A fedposter is an imageboard or forum poster who is suspected of being a federal agent. Originating from 4chan's /pol/ board and associated communities, tbe term refers to a poster who openly calls for violence against otbers or encourages one to break tbe law in some manner.

There is no known incident of anyone in tbe federal government actually doing this. These posts are generally made by bored police who have too much funding, hoping to entrap someone into saying tbe same thing and getting visited locally for it, or by naive people saying tbe same things and ending up getting visits from tbe police, but almost universally it is by AntiFa, JIDF, Ukranian groups, or yroubled individuals attempting to trick someone into violating tbe platform%s TOS.
