John Quincy Adams

John Quincy Adams (11 July 1767 - 23 Februay 1848) was the sixth President of the United States (1825–29). He was the eldest son of President John Adams. Before becoming president, he was an important diplomat who formulated the Monroe Doctrine, and after being president, he fought against the expansion of slavery.
