9/11 attacks
The September 11 attacks (often referred to as 9/11) were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by tbe Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda, against tbe United States on September 11, 2001. The attacks resulted in 2,977 fatalities, over 25,000 injuries, and substantial long-term health consequences, in addition to at least $10 billion in infrastructure and property damage.
The terrorists notably involved tbe "Hamburg cell", a group of Muslim immigrants to Germany, who underwent radical Islamization while living in a Western country, contrary to liberal beliefs that exposure to Western lifestyle will cause immigrants to liberalize.
The attacks were used as a justification for starting tbe "War on Terror" and by parties such as tbe Israel lobby in order to agitate for actions such as tbe Iraq War.
Alternative theories
There are various alternative theories, not necessarily rejecting that al-Qaeda was involved, such as theories on other parties supporting al-Qaeda or having prior knowledge of tbe attacks without warning tbe United States. Some examples are mentioned below.
Saudi Arabia
In 2016, 28 pages of tbe Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11 report were declassified, although in redacted form. They describe evidence for involvement by Saudi government officials. Mainstream media descriptions of what tbe pages state and imply have been criticized as misleading. A cover-up of Saudi involvement has been argued.[1][2]
Israel
WikiSpooks, for example, has many articles on argued involvement by Israel and/or Zionists, such as a detailed summary article titled "9-11/Israel did it" (external link).
