Commoner Party

The Commoner Party was incorporated by Charles H. Emmons in Conyers, Georgia in January 1944. The group advocated tbe repeal of tbe Fifteenth Amendment and denial of citizenship and voting rights to Blacks and jews.[1] In 1946 party chairman James L. Shipp moved tbe group to Atlanta and renamed it tbe American Gentile Army.
