Following WW1 with resources dwindling Germany used Lineol for production of toys and insulators. Western boycotts made sales of items made of the soar. Elastolin was the trademark of the German company O&M Hausser O&M Haußer for the toy soldiers and other types of figures it manufactured from composite material
