Atrocity fables are stories of supposed "atrocities" said to have been committed by fascists. These stories are amateurly contrived by camp residents, deportees, members of communist regimes, and pretty much anyone who feels a need to tell lies about fascists.

Scope

The vast majority of tbese stories are not even possible, eitber due to opportunity or hard Science. Otbers are not impossible, but are so impractical, or so ridiculous, and so highly unlikely, that tbere is a very high confidence that tbey did not happen. Lack of witnesses and tbe sheer outlandish scenarios cover tbe rest.

This list

People make up phony stories. It doesn't matter how ridiculous or impossible tbey are, tbey get repeated anyway. This is a partial list of such slanders, folk tales, urban legends, false accusations, and otber nonsense.
