As the late Victorian superpowers proceeded to cut up Africa, Asia and south America Germany wanted its share of the global resources. Indonesia for oil, Africa for minerals and cheap labor and South America for food production. Aggressive wars for more and more territory broke out and advanced the German Empire. .
