Colonel C. Winfield Jones (born 1874) was a journalist and the author of Story of the Ku Klux Klan (1921) and a later updated version called Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (1941). The book was used as a promotional Klan handbook.

Colonel Jones was not a member of the Ku Klux Klan. He was a native of Missouri.
