Elbert Claude Wilkinson (born ca. 1943) also known as Bill Wilkinson was a Ku Klux Klan leader from Denham Springs LA. He organized the Invisible Empire, Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in 1975 as an offshoot of David Dukeโs Klan organization. At its peak in the early 1980s the group had more that 2,500 members. In 1982 Wilkinson step down a Imperial Wizard after it was learned he had been working with the FBI since 1974.[1]
He currently lives in the Central American country of Belize and owns a three million dollar resort.[2]
