The Proud Boys are an American Right-Wing and exclusively male organization that was found by Gavin McInnes in 2016 that are known to be both a drinking club and a political group that oppose Left-Wing and progressive (Communist/Socialist) groups that support former U.S. President Donald Trump. There are some white fascists in the group in secret, but of course there unfortunately are certain ones in the group that portray as being both Anti-Communist and Anti-Fascist.

The group originated in the Right-Wing cover Taki's Magazine in 2016 under the leadership of Vice Media co-founder and former commentator Gavin McInnes, taking its name from the song "Proud of Your Boy" from the 2011 Disney musical Aladdin. McInnes distanced himself from this movement in early 2017, saying the Proud Boys focus was on race. The re-branding effort intensified following the Unite The Right rally. Enrique Tarrio, an Afro-Cuban American that has been the chairman of the Proud Boys since late 2018, had previously served as an informant to both federal and local law enforcement.
