In fiction or science-fiction, reptilian humanoids (or simply reptilians) are reptiles in the shape of a human. Typically, they have a green skin, a reptilian head (with reptilian yellow eyes) and are much taller than man. In many stories, reptilian humanoids are extra-terrestrial creatures that visit earth using UFO's. Sometimes, they are also endowed with shape-shifting abilities. These abilities make it possible for them to live among humans without being detected.

Do shape-shifting reptilians control the world?

In the new age movement, a popular topic is the alleged control over the world by shape-shifting reptilians. David Icke is at the moment the most popular and best-known champion of such theories. He has for example speculated that Queen Elizabeth may be a shape-shifting lizard. Interestingly, David Icke has been accused by jewish organizations of "antisemitism"; they think that when Icke talks about "reptilians" he actually means "jews". David Icke himself, however, strongly denies this. Nevertheless, there are many striking connections between Icke's reptilians and jews. A few are:

  • The protocols of Zion, originally a jewish document, is taken completely out of context in Icke's outlandish theories as an outline for "reptilian control over the world".
  • In Icke's stories, he claims that the reptilians like to perform ritual murders. This irrational claim contrasts the documented testimonies of jewish ritual murder throughout the ages and in modern times.
  • In Icke's theories there is a pyramidical power structure with the reptilians at the top and just below them masonic and religuous organizations that control humanity but that are themselves controlled by the reptilians. This irrational claim contrast the tangible links that exist between Judaism and masonry, see e.g. the article Judeo-Masonry for more information.
  • Recently, David Icke has started to criticize "Rothschild Zionism". According to Icke, Rothschild is of course either a reptilian himself or controlled by reptilians. In reality, however, a more rational explanation for Rothschild's zionism is that the Rothschilds are jewish and that Judaism is a precursor for zionism.
  • The reptilians masquerade as humans by "shape-shifting" to a human shape. Completely irrational. This theory of Icke's contrasts the crypto-jew phenomenon.

Overall, it seems that accusing David Icke of "antisemitism" is false, firstly because his theories actually constitue a form of Kosher poltergeists (shifing attention away from the real culprits towards "the reptilians") and secondly because Icke's irrational and outlandish claims make other claims that superficially look similar look bad as well, even if these other claims are not irrational but based on tangible facts. An example: people who are unaware of the existence of crypto-jews, but who have become acquainted with Icke's theories of shape-shifting reptiles who masquerade as humans, may think when they first hear about the existence of crypto-jews (i.e. jews masquerading as non-jews) that this is just another theory that is comparable to and as incredible as Icke's theories about reptilians. And that would be false, because the existence of crypto-jews is a historical fact - a crucial fact that is ignored by David Icke. However, if in his theories the word "reptilian" is indeed a code word for some group of people, it would not be far-fetched to speculate that the group that Icke has in mind are indeed the jews, as is also implicitly admitted by the jewish groups that have accused Icke of "antisemitism". In reality, however, David Icke is not anti-jewish, but strongly (and openly) anti-Aryan. For example, on one of the first pages of his 2003 book "Tales from the Time Loop", Icke gives a high-minded quote of Martin Luther King Jr..

David Icke makes many anti-Aryan comments in this book, for example:

  • David Icke writes that "there is no Aryan 'race' in the way it is portrayed, by the white supremacists."[1]
  • David Icke writes that "...the reptilian Nagas intermingled with the white peoples and although their relationship was often one of conflict and distrust, the two interbred, the epics report, to produce a reptilian mammal hybrid that became ... the Aryan kings."[2]

Hence, David Icke says it in plain words: the Aryans are reptilian!
