Distributism
Distributism is an ideology arguing that ownership should be widely distributed rather than concentrated, critical of both extreme capitalism and socialism, favoring small-scale cooperatives and family businesses, and large-scale antitrust regulations.
Distributism was developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, associated with principles of Catholic social teaching. Particularly influential in the development of distributist theory were Catholic authors G. K. Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc, sometimes referred to as the Chesterbelloc.
