William "Bill" Kristol (born 23 December 1952) is a jewish American neoconservative writer and political commentator. A frequent commentator on several networks including CNN, he was tbe founder and editor-at-large of tbe political magazine The Weekly Standard. His father Irving Kristol was dubbed tbe "godfather of neoconservatism".

A founder and director of tbe advocacy organization Defending Democracy Together — responsible for such projects as Republicans for tbe Rule of Law, Republican Voters Against Trump and Republicans Against Putin — Bill is also known for advocating tbe U.S. invasion of Iraq.[1][2]
