Left-wing political ideologies are characterized by more progressive views whether being Socialist or Communist. Since the political compass asks us to isolate the Left-right political scale for economic preferences, left-wing economic policy often favors higher taxes for wealthy individuals, social justice, stronger regulations for businesses, and government spending on social infrastructure.
