Greg Cristiano, Fascipedia's most beloved donor, and my personal friend, passed away on September 2, 2023. He was 66 years old. Most of you will remember our recent Adolf Hitler contest, and the relics that each of you won as prizes. Well all of the best ones of came from Greg.  He also covered a lot of our server costs and other expenses. That is how generous he was. And yes, he worked tirelessly on hundreds of Fascipedia articles too.

Fascipedia will be much less of a destination without him. Some of the prizewinners have remarked about the museum-quality of the relics they won. There is a very good reason for that. He was a world-tier antiques dealer. Better than those guys on TV.  Many of his treasures are in the Smithsonian, Mutter, Betsy Ross House and other fine museums around the world. World leaders came to Greg when they were looking for something really special. Now some of his  wonderful antiques are are also in the hands of Fascipedia readers like you.

He was pleased to have his antiques used as prop work for IBM, Bill Blass, Macy's, Victoriaโ€™s Secret, and many TV and film works as well. We are all very fortunate to have known Greg, very fortunate.

His passions were not limited to antique militaria and Fascipedia, he also enjoyed Historical Reenacting and Greg portrayed Revolutionary hero Capt. John Fries of Fries Rebellion. He was the only shop owner in New Hope to fly the Gadsden flag .
