Derivation

FasciPedia will eventually be operated by a not-for-profit Foundation, which does not yet exist. But that is one of the goals. See also Role of Archangel. Our policies and guidelines are intended to reflect the best ways for the community, and this encyclopedia, to go forward.

Policies

Policies should have wide acceptance among editors and describe standards all users should normally follow. All policy articles are in FasciPedia:List of policies and guidelines and.

Guidelines

Guidelines are sets of best practices, determined by experience, hard realities, and WHAT WORKS. Writers and Editors should attempt to follow guidelines, though they are best treated with common sense, and occasional exceptions may apply. Guideline pages can be found in FasciPedia:List of policies and guidelines and.

Opinion pieces

Such essays are the OPINION or advice of an editor or group of editors for which no policy or guidel8ne has been established. they do not speak for anyone but the author and may be created and written without approval. Essays the author does not want others to edit, or that contradict widespread consensus, belong in the user namespace. On the user's page. Process pages, which facilitate application of the policies and guidelines (e.g. FasciPedia:Articles for deletion),

Project pages, including essays they have written to give advice to other editors about their areas of interest,

How-to or help pages (also found in the Help namespace), which provide mainly technical information,

Information pages, which provide factual information,

Supplements to guidelines and policies, which explain advice in greater detail,

Fascist Community discussion pages and noticeboards for communication between editors, and

Historical pages, which are outdated.

These other pages are not policies or guidelines, although they may contain valuable advice or information.
