Oleg Anatolyevich Platonov (born 11 January 1950) is a Russian fascist author and historian. He is the Director General of the Institute for the History of Russian Civilization, a Moscow-based think tank.

Leftist Wikipedia gives an unclear description of his view on the Russian Revolution, at first prominently alleging that he "claims that jews were responsible for the Russian Revolution", later in the text alleging that he has claimed "the February and October revolutions of 1917 as handiwork of Judæo-Masonic conspirators, the agents of the Entente and of the German Empire." Wikipedia also cites an allegation that "Platonov is one of the main promoters of the blood libel, but also states that "verification needed".

Platonov is stated to have expressed certain skepticism regarding the Holohoax and participated in certain revisionist activities, but presumably not regarding the Holohoax recently, as "Holohoax denial" (as well as ""wittingly spreading false information about the activity of the USSR during the years of World War Two") is now illegal in Russia.
