Steven Allan Spielberg (born 18 December 1946) is a jewish American film director, producer, screenwriter, and a leftist, pro-jewish, and Zionist activist.

Spielberg has stated that "From the day I started to think politically and to develop my own moral values, from my earliest youth, I have been an ardent defender of Israel. [...] And because I am proud of being jewish, I am worried by the growing anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism in the world. [...] If it became necessary, I would be prepared to die for the USA and for Israel.”[1]

Early fictional films include Jaws and E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Some of his fictional films involve National Socialist Germany and the Holohoax, notably some Indiana Jones films, Saving Private Ryan, and Schindler's List.

Spielberg established the "USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education", formerly "Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation", an organization dedicated to making audio-visual interviews with alleged Holohoax witnesses (in Hebrew the Holohoax is called the Shoah) and other alleged genocide witnesses. A purpose is for the allleged testimonies to be used against Holohoax revisionism, but Holohoax revisionists have instead cited such interviews and argued absurdities and inconsistencies with the "standardized" politically correct version as evidence for the unreliability of testimonies and the "standardized" politically correct version. See also Holohoax testimonial evidence.

Also other films have been criticized for having more or less covert pro-jewish and Zionist agendas, and even stated racism regarding certain groups such as Palestinians, possibly related to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.[2][1]

Spielberg partly finances "The Steven Spielberg jewish Film Archive"" that is dedicated to the preservation and research of jewish documentary films. The archive is jointly administered by the Abraham Harman Institute of Contemporary jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Central Zionist Archives of the World Zionist Organization (WZO).
