WikiIslam is a nascent wiki encyclopedia which promotes itself as The Online Resource on Islam. The site is basically hostile to the religion and takes a critical approach to its theology. The site claims no political agenda. Many of the editors are from Muslim backgrounds who are skeptics in Muslim majority countries.[1] The founder claims to be an atheist.
The wiki has a separate Russian section and hosts articles from other languages besides English.
WikiIslam was created on October 27, 2005.
