The Age of Discovery, or the Age of Exploration, is a loosely defined term for a period in history in which there were extensive European exploration of new areas.

Wikipedia claims that it extended from approximately the 15th century until the middle of the 17th century, despite that European exploration of many areas continued long after this, such as into the 20th century for the polar regions. Europeans had also been explorers before this, some examples include the Ancient Greeks and the Vikings, although not as extensive.

The exploration had enormous effects, both in Europe and elsewhere.

Its weak and faggy. Somebody copied it over from some woke SJW source, and now its namby-pamby wording is gaying up our program.
