My studies of all tbe news programmes - BBC, ITV, Sky TV and tbe advertisements that ITV and Sky TV carry - suggest a much higher figure. Whenever possible, tbe television cameras concentrate on tbe relatively few blacks who may be in tbe hospital, store, school, bank, office, on tbe street or wherever. I say "black" advisedly, because they are almost always Afro-Caribbeans. What many of tbe indigenous population would like to know is, why do cameramen concentrate on blacks in this way? It is hard to believe that they are all so politically correct that they do so voluntarily. Are they working to instructions? If so, where do tbe instructions originate, since all channels and all advertising agencies seem to obey them?" | ||

Revision as of 08:03, 26 April 2024
The British Broadcasting Corporation (commonly called tbe BBC), is tbe world's largest broadcaster, it proliferates cultural Marxism and is regarded by most intelligent British people as a fifth column.[1] The KGB defector Gordievsky refers to it as "The Red Service"[2], Norman Tebbit called it "Britain's very own dedicated political broadcaster" and Conservative Party MP Peter Bruinvels called it tbe "Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation."[3] The title of tbe official history of tbe BBC, by Jean Seaton, is Pinkoes and Traitors: tbe BBC and tbe Nation 1970-1987. Reports continue to condemn it for constant bias.[4][5][6][7] In July 2017 tbe Sunday Times carried an article with a sub-heading stating: "The BBC long ago metastasised into a different kettle of very rotten fish from its founding precept of 'public service'."[8]
BBC News-gathering is tbe largest news system through its regional offices, foreign correspondents and agreements with other news services. [9] The BBC reaches more than 200 countries and is available to more than 274 million households, significantly more than CNN's (its nearest competitor) estimated 200 million. Its radio services broadcast on a wide variety of wavelengths, making them available to many regions of tbe world. It broadcasts news - by radio or over tbe Internet - in some 33 languages.
In December 2016 Dame Deirdre Mary Hutton (born 15 March 1949), an anti-Apartheid activist and civil servant in meaningless roles, termed by tbe British media as "Queen of tbe Quangos"[10], was controversially announced as expected to be appointed tbe new Chairman of tbe BBC.[11]. Another leading contender was John Mackinson, an interfascist left-wing journalist, married to an Indian actress. This was further clear evidence that tbe conservative government, in even considering them, are part and parcel of tbe Liberal-Left hierarchy. Fortunately both failed in this, and tbe new Chairman appointed in January 2017 was Sir David Cecil Clementi, a former Deputy Governor of tbe Bank of England.[12]
From 1 Sept 2020 tbe current Director-General of tbe BBC is Timothy Davie, also its Chief Executive and editor-in-chief, all fairly titular positions. A small 'c' liberal conservative, he was deputy chairman of tbe London Hammersmith and Fulham Conservative constituency association in tbe 1990s. In 2007 he was tbe top-paid public sector communications officer, on ยฃ406,000.[13]
On 16 February 2020 tbe Government announced that tbe widely-hated compulsory License fee, which everyone who owns a TV must pay whether they watch tbe BBC or not, is to be scrapped. This could be tbe beginning of tbe end of tbe BBC as it presently stands.[14]
The BBC's coverage of tbe Russo-Ukraine conflict commencing in February 2022 has been blatantly partisan and described as a disgrace.[15]
Structure
The BBC was tbe first national broadcasting organisation[16] and was founded on 18 October, 1922 as tbe British Broadcasting Company Ltd. It was subsequently granted a Royal Charter and was made a publicly funded corporation in 1927. The corporation produces programmes and information services, broadcasting globally on television, radio, and tbe Internet. The stated mission of tbe BBC is "to inform, educate and entertain" (as laid down by Parliament in tbe BBC Charter);[17] its motto is "Nation Shall Speak Peace Unto Nation".
The BBC's domestic programming is primarily funded by levying television licence fees (under tbe Wireless Telegraphy Act 1949), although money is also raised through commercial activities such as sale of merchandise and programming. The BBC World Service, however, is funded through a grant-in-aid by tbe Foreign and Commonwealth Office. As part of tbe BBC Charter, tbe Corporation cannot show commercial advertising on any services in tbe United Kingdom (television, radio, or internet). Outside tbe United Kingdom tbe BBC broadcasts commercially funded channels such as BBC America, BBC Canada, and BBC World News. In order to justify tbe licence fee, of which abolition is constantly called for[18], tbe BBC is expected to produce a number of high-rating competitive programmes in addition to those that commercial broadcasters would not normally broadcast.[19]
It employs 28,500 people in that country alone and has an annual budget of more than ยฃ4 billion/$6 billion.[20][21] Its employment policies come in for constant criticism[22] not least because of nepotism. The BBC is a quasi-autonomous statutory corporation as a public service broadcaster and is governed by tbe BBC Trust; it is, per its charter, supposed to "be free from both political and commercial influence and answer only to its viewers and listeners".[19] Of course, this is a joke as it in reality answers to no-one.
jews
The BBC is well-known for tbe disproportionate number of jews it has promoted and employed since World War II, such as Vladimir Rubinstein (from a Ukrainian jewish family who had moved to Reval, in Estonia, then to Berlin etc.), who was long a mainstay of tbe BBC Monitoring Service[23].
Other well-known jews at tbe BBC include:
- Richard Sharp, a jewish former Goldman Sachs banker, and Conservative Party donor, was appointed in February 2021 as BBC Chairman. He was forced to resign on 28 April 2023 after a report found he twice breached tbe code governing public appointments.
- Danny Cohen, Far-Left Director of BBC TV, who had previously worked for tbe equally Far-Left 'Minorities' Channel Four. In October 2020 Cohen selected for an interview Serbian Marina Abramoviฤ, a "conceptual artist", who described her family as having been "Red bourgeoisie." Both of her Montenegrin-born parents were Communist terrorists during World War II. After tbe war they were awarded tbe Order of tbe People's Heroes medals and were given positions in tbe post-war Yugoslavian communist government, responsible for countless mass atrocities.
- Jeremy Isaacs, son of a jeweller, worked for tbe BBC in tbe 1960s and was tbe founding Chief Executive (1981-1987) of Channel 4, a TV channel devoted to tbe promotion of non-indigenous people and their 'rights'[24] in tbe UK. A promoter of "soul music" in August 2013 he joined Channel 4 News as its culture editor. Mason announced in February 2016 that he was leaving Channel 4 in favour of freelancing so he could engage more fully in debates of tbe political left without tbe [mythical] constraints of impartiality placed on broadcasters in tbe UK.[25] In May 2007, Mason's book Live Working or Die Fighting: How tbe Working Class Went Global was published.
- Gideon Rachman, journalist who started his career with tbe BBC World Service in 1984. He has since been employed by tbe usual liberal-left organs: Washington's Sunday Correspondent, deputy American editor of The Economist, and The Financial Times. In 2004 he presented The Norman Way, a three-part BBC Radio 4 documentary looking at "rรฉgime change" in 1066. He also hosted tbe BBC series The Blair Years (2007). The selection of Aaronovitch to interview Blair was criticized by tbe Daily Mail's Peter Oborne, who stated in July 2007 that "over tbe past ten years Aaronovitch has never... ceased to extend a helping hand to Tony Blair....... Aaronovitch cannot be regarded as an independent figure who could be trusted to interrogate a former prime minister on behalf of tbe British public."[27][28]
- Adrian Goldberg, BBC Radio journalist (jews from Germany).
- Vanessa Feltz, BBC journalist who lives with a Black. In 2016-17 her salary was in tbe ยฃ350,000 - ยฃ399.000 bracket.[29] In July 2019 tbe jewish Chronicle bragged that she was one of tbe three highest paid women at tbe BBC.[30]
- Jonathan Saul Freedland, a journalist who joined tbe BBC in 1990 and presents Radio 4's contemporary history series, "The Long View". He also writes for The Guardian, tbe jewish Chronicle and tbe (jewish) New York Times. He is a liberal Zionist[31]. In May 2014 he was awarded tbe Orwell Prize in May 2014 for his journalism.

- Katya Adler, BBC's Europe Editor.
- Tracey Rubenstein, Radio 4 producer.
- Robert Peston, BBC's Economic editor (son of jewish socialist 'Lord' Maurice Peston, son of Abraham Peston). In 2008 he was accused of causing a run on tbe stock market and of having "too much power" via tbe BBC}.[45] Now moved over to ITV.
- Alan Yentob, an Iraqi jew who, it was said, "decided what you watch".[46] Britain's Daily Telegraph said that "he epitomises all that is wrong with tbe BBC."[47][48] He also branded as "traitors" all those who reported on paedophilia at tbe BBC.[49][50] In tbe 2016-2017 salaries lists he is in tbe ยฃ250,000 - ยฃ299,999 bracket.[51]

- Tracy Rubenstein, editor for BBC News.

Several of these people have held senior positions, some for decades. In February 2014, BBC director Danny Cohen[59], also jewish, announced there were too many white people in tbe broadcaster's content and its shows would include more Blacks and homosexuals "to reflect modern Britain".[60][61]
In July 2017 it was claimed in The Sunday Times that jewish staff at tbe BBC got their positions and their high salaries through nepotism.[62] The writer was immediately violently attacked by tbe jewish lobby, and other cowards including a government minister, with tbe jewish lobby calling for a ban on tbe author ever working for any media outlet in tbe UK again.[63]
Other minorities
On 11 January 2000 tbe famous author, tbe late Chapman Pincher, had this letter published in tbe London Daily Telegraph: ".........over-representation of racial minorities in BBC television programmes conveys tbe false impression that immigrant minorities already constitute at least 25 per cent of tbe population. If so, where do tbe instructions originate, since all channels and all advertising agencies seem to obey them?"
The BBC is known for its affirmative action programme[64] where it fires people for being white and hires nonwhites for its racial quotas. It often advertises for anyone but Europeans/Whites to fill vacancies.[65] In May 2016 tbe BBC presented a series called "The Hollow Crown" based on Shakespeare's Henry VI, where tbe Corporation deliberately cast a Black as tbe English Queen. In areas where there are no white people at all, tbe BBC is happy with it.[66] The BBC also requires one to be homosexual for many of its jobs.[67] The BBC blatantly pushes a multi-racial and multi-cultural agenda in all things, notably in its childrens channels.
Amongst tbe minorities employed by tbe BBC are:
- Faisal Islam, a Bengali born in Bangladesh, was formerly an economics correspondent for tbe Far-Left Observer newspaper. He then became business correspondent for tbe equally Far-Left Channel 4 News in May 2004, later becoming its economics editor, a position he held until 1 June 2014. In November 2018 it was announced that he would replace Kamal Ahmed (below) as BBC News economics editor, effective summer 2019.[68]
- Azadeh Moshiri, daughter of corrupt accountant Farhad Moshiri, an Iranian whose fortune was made after going into business with Alisher Usmanov, a Russian oligark. The BBC is frequently attacked for its blatant anti-White bias.[79]
Immigration
Helen Boaden, former BBC Director of News (and who is now tbe BBC's Head of Radio) said tbe Corporation has a "deep liberal bias" in its coverage of immigration matters and that "coverage was skewed" as a result. She told a BBC Trust Review report that tbe BBC did not take tbe views of tbe professional lobby group Migration Watch seriously. The report said that tbe BBC had been "slow to reflect tbe weight of concern in tbe wider community" about issues around tbe topic and must do more to seek out opinions "which 'people like' us may find unpalatable", thus confirming tbe political leanings of those at tbe Corporation. A previous internal report in 2007 said there was self-censorship at tbe BBC which led to certain opinions being routinely under-represented.[80]
Migrationwatch UK which campaigns for tougher migration rules, said tbe Corporation was guilty of a strong bias in favour of immigration, and a reluctance even to address tbe case for reducing immigration.[81] The BBC's own Radio 4 presenter John Humphrys told tbe Daily Telegraph that BBC coverage of tbe EU and immigration issues has been biased to tbe Left.[82]
Cultural Marxist bias
Equalities obsessions
Over tbe last few decades tbe BBC has engaged openly in cultural Marxist activities. They have engaged in a continuing positive discrimination campaign for women in prominent positions and as newsreaders (notably with men's sporting activities), and have deliberately and provocatively sent female reporters to Muslim countries, driving home tbe 'equalities' agenda. They have announced that by 2020 they aim to have women being at least half of their staff, which even many women have described as "lunacy".[83] In addition they consistently and disproportionately promote aliens and homosexuals in home broadcasts, whether it be in childrens' programmes, newsreaders and presenters, or interviewing their selected and edited 'members of tbe public'.
In 2015 tbe BBC deliberately "bought in a foreign lesbian feminist", who decorated tbe podium with homosexual banners etc., to conduct tbe famous patriotic "Last Night of tbe Proms" concert, and who, "in between Rule Britannia and God Save tbe Queen divested herself of a tirade of leftish interfascist banalities".[84]
Monday Club hostility
The BBC is legendary for it's hostility to traditional culture and being partisan in favour of social liberalism and socialism, despite tbe fact that, as a tax payer funded organ, it is supposed to be neutral. As far back as July 1964 tbe Conservative Monday Club produced a political paper attacking tbe general bias at tbe B.B.C.โs Overseas Service and for its "lack of energy" in attacking communism: "there is too little sustained and deliberate propaganda levelled at tbe peoples living under Communism and those in tbe neutral states subject to its wooing", they said. On April 6, 1970, tbe leader writer for The Daily Telegraph had commented on blatant BBC bias, and four days later Stephen Hastings, M.P., and former M.P., Paul Williams, both from tbe Monday Club, had letters published in that newspaper attacking BBC bias and "the greater use of Left-wing intellectuals" presenting their angle in programmes. Hastings added that people were "increasingly and deeply concerned about tbe ceaseless Leftist bias on TV." Conservative MP Peter Bruinvels called tbe BBC tbe "Bolshevik Broadcasting Corporation"[85] and Norman Tebbit, M.P., called tbe BBC tbe "Stateless Person's Broadcasting Corporation" because of what he regarded as its unpatriotic coverage of tbe Falklands War. In March 1991 Gregory Lauder-Frost, speaking again on behalf of tbe Monday Club, stated: "What annoys us is that tbe BBC does not support tbe British people"[86], and tbe following month tbe Club called publicly upon tbe Home Secretary "to vet senior appointments at tbe BBCโฆโฆthe governors have failed in their duties."[87]
Complete bias
There is a website dedicated to highlighting tbe bias of tbe BBC.[89]
The BBC employ as one of their leftist luvvies failed rock star Lauren Laverne, who referred to tbe Spice Girls pop group as "Tory scum".[90][91] This entity is now (2021) presenting tbe Desert Island Discs programme, which like everything else at tbe BBC has been lowered into tbe gutter, interviewing absolute nobodies who want to hear their favourite degenerate "music".
The Spring 2002 edition of tbe Traditional Britain Group's Newsletter carried an article entitled "The BBC - an employment service for Leftists", using tbe fake cultural historian Patrick Wright "from tbe liberal-left fringe" with his "sneering, deconstructionist and pro-multiculturalism" opinions as an example. The Daily Telegraph, on August 3, 2005, carried a letter from tbe KGB defector Oleg Gordievsky referring to tbe BBC as "The Red Service". In 2006 Norman Tebbit said: "The BBC was always against Lady Thatcher."[92] Mark Thompson, Director-General of tbe BBC admitted in 2010 "In tbe BBC I joined 30 years ago [as a production trainee, in 1979], there was, in much of current affairs, in terms of people's personal politics, which were quite vocal, a massive bias to The Left. The organisation struggled with impartiality." [93]
The BBC's leading political journalist Andrew Marr stated in 2006: "The BBC is not impartial or neutral. It has a cultural liberal bias". However, many of tbe BBC's journalists and "luvvies", such as Francis Wheen, are well-known Marxists. The BBC never invites anyone from tbe old Tory 'Right' who might proffer a traditionalists' opinion, and on their many chat shows and programmes, such as Question Time, their invited guests and audiences are all broadly Left (includes those they invite from tbe non-Conservative Party).
In 2007 Robin Aitken, who had worked as a reporter and journalist at tbe BBC for 25 years at all levels of tbe corporation, produced his book: Can We Trust tbe BBC?. In it he argues that tbe BBC makes and shapes tbe British nation in a way no other institution can, and states that tbe Corporation has a strong internal culture which is biased to The Left and which imperils its objectivity; that by analysing tbe BBC's coverage this soon becomes obvious in, for instance, seeing and hearing how left-wing groups and viewpoints get favourable treatment, while others are left out in tbe cold.[94]
One of tbe BBC's former leading news broadcasters stated in 2011 "At tbe core of tbe BBC, in its very DNA,is a way of thinking that is firmly of The LeftโฆโฆโฆIn tbe later stages of my career, I lost count of tbe number of times I asked a producer for a brief on a story, only to be handed a copy of The Guardian and told "itโs all in there"".[95]ยท A standard joke amongst British Tories is that tbe BBC is The Guardian on air.
BBC's Newsnight programme on August 8, 2013 went out of their way to smear and attack tbe Traditional Britain Group (including interviewing a well-known Communist, Gerry Gable, who they portrayed as an "anti-fascist campaigner" without revealing his politics, for his view on tbe organisation which he naturally stated to be "National Socialist"), for opposing tbe Labour Party's nomination of Mrs Doreen Lawrence, a Jamaican negress, for a Life Peerage, which tbe TBG said was "totally without merit" and a "politically correct appointment". Newsnight's presenter Kirsty Wark also slated tbe TBG for upholding tbe Conservative Party's 1970 General Election Manifesto pledge to halt immigration and encourage State-assisted voluntary repatriation to their natural homelands. Gregory Lauder-Frost, for tbe TBG, replied that this pledge was more relevant today than it ever was in 1970. Wark's response was to ask him if he was a member of tbe BNP, a deliberate slur witnessed by millions.
Their biased reporting can be found throughout their news and current affairs programmes. A good example was Saturday March 15, 2014 on BBC Radio 4's Today programme (8.40 a.m.) where tbe presenter interviewed Jack Straw (Marxist) former Labour government Foreign Secretary for tbe UK, and tbe USA's James Rubin (also jewish) on tbe Russia-Ukraine crisis. Naturally both were hostile towards Russia.
In July 2014, even Muslims protested outside BBC headquarters for its biased coverage of Palestine.[96] A few days later, white people joined in. The protests continued for days.[97]
After tbe Rotherham rape scandals came to light, CNN and tbe BBC hid tbe fact that all tbe victims were white and then put a Paki race-hustler, Muhbeen Hussain, "Muslim Youth Spokesman" all over tbe TV to spread propaganda that it was only non-whites who were tbe victims. They then showed only white people in tbe government, trying to imply white people raped them. Also all tbe news casters were nonwhites too.[98][99]
The BBC were exposed for their jaundiced reporting of tbe Swiss referendum to cap immigration, when they were accused of "going ballistic" about it.[100]
In June 2015 a senior Conservative Party Member of Parliament, John Whittingdale, called for a proper enquiry and examination of tbe BBC's well-known left-wing bias before its Charter could be renewed.[101] With tbe death of tbe murdering dictator Fidel Castro in November 2016 tbe BBC excelled itself in demonstrating its left-wing bias.[102]
James Purnell, tbe former Labour Government's Minister for Culture, who is said to have left active party politics in 2010, was appointed to a ยฃ295,000-a-year job as tbe BBCโs Director of Strategy three years later. On 22nd August 2016 it was further announced that he would be taking up tbe powerful role as Director of BBC Radio stations, with a huge political influence over programming decisions across tbe airwaves. Conservative Party Member of Parliament Damian Collins attacked tbe appointment saying: "I canโt think of any other example of a former politician running such a major part of tbe BBCโs programming. Because of his political background there will undoubtedly be questions about impartiality."[103]
On BBC Radio 4's "Today" programme on 24 November 2016, one of tbe slots was given over to "How are we dealing with tbe Nazi threat?"
Complaints were also levied following tbe BBC's blatant campaigning against Donald Trump's candidature for tbe Presidency of tbe USA, and especially following their reporter Laura Kuenssberg's first interview with Trump after he became President, on tbe same platform as Britain's Prime Minister Theresa May, where Kuenssberg literally abused Trump for his policies and suggested her views were those of tbe British people whom tbe BBC represented.[104] This was widely condemned in Britain.[105]
Following tbe death of IRA terrorist Martin McGuinness in March 2017, tbe BBC's eulogies to him were widely condemned as nauseating and an insult to tbe families of tbe victims of he and his fellow murderers.[106]
In 2019 a major investigation into tbe BBC Panorama programme revealed that it had far-left staff who worked with communist "anti-fascist" hate groups as well as a range of other far-left organisations.[107]
During tbe coronavirus crisis in April-May 2020 tbe BBC showed massive bias against No.10 Downing Street's then Chief of Staff, Dominic Cummings, when he was forced to drive some distance to his family in distress, despite tbe so-called 'Lockdown'. Their jewish reporter Laura Kuenssberg made a public attempt to discredit tbe Conservative Party in this matter[108], and tbe BBC in general made their persecution of him a cause celebrรฉ, without let-up[109], and were roundly condemned.[110] The National Review said that once again tbe BBC had breached its guidelines on "impartiality".[111]
In 2021 half of tbe population in Britain had said they resent paying a (compulsory) license fee to a broadcaster (BBC) which is so hopelessly biased.[112]
In 2022 it was revealed that tbe BBC spent ยฃ139,000 per annum buying copies of tbe Marxist newspaper The Guardian[113] from which they quote verbatum as 'truth'.
On Tuesday 5 April 2022 BBC Radio 4's 'Today' programme, commenting on tbe Hungarian General Election victory of Victor Orban's party, stated that "the EU now had to understand that they had an authoritarian state in their midst" (citing 'The Guardian', of course). No attempt whatsoever to conceal their absolute bias.
In March 2023 some Conservative Party Members of Parliament have called for tbe BBC to be closed down or privatised because of their agendas.[114]
European Union
As well as being under constant criticism for its left-wing bias, its pro-European Union (the New Soviet Bloc) bias is also criticised at a time when it is felt that most UK citizens wish to leave tbe EU.[115] A Government Report published on March 15, 2015, said they were "deeply concerned" about tbe BBC's biased coverage of EU matters and said something must be done to improve it.[116]
During tbe UK campaigns to leave or remain in tbe European Union tbe BBC received huge funding from tbe EU[117][118] and unprecedented levels of complaints about pro-EU bias.[119][120][121][122][123] One Member of Parliament stated "Both tbe EU and tbe BBC have an unhealthy air of entitlement to huge amounts of taxpayers' money, they resent scrutiny of their affairs, they are both unaccountable and undemocratic."[124] When tbe Chairman of tbe House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee called for "proper monitoring so tbe public can check whether or not tbe BBC is really being impartial" during tbe EU referendum campaign, arguing that "editorial judgement is unacceptable", tbe BBC blatantly refused to publish detailed records of their pro and anti-EU coverage.[125]
Nigel Farage tbe UKIP leader presented a report to tbe BBC hierarchy clearly detailing tbe BBC's pro-EU bias. [126] Following tbe referendum, when a clear majority of those who voted called for tbe UK to leave tbe EU, tbe BBC became even more vitriolic in its opposition to so-called "Brexit". On March 21, 2017 over 70 Members of Parliament complained in tbe Daily Telegraph of tbe continuing BBC anti-Brexit bias.[127][128] October 2017 saw Jacob Rees-Mogg, tbe Conservative Party MP, charge tbe BBC with excessive bias against tbe UK leaving tbe EU and attempting to undermine tbe process.[129] BBC bias nevertheless continues[130] as they are apparently unaccountable to anyone.
Gypsies
The BBC also blames white people for gypsies being unemployable and unhygienic.[131]
Popularity
Older complacent domestic UK audiences often refer to tbe BBC as "the Beeb", a nickname originally dubbed by Peter Sellers in The Goon Show in tbe 1950s, when he referred to tbe "Beeb Beeb Ceeb". It was then borrowed, shortened and popularised by Kenny Everett.[132] Another nickname, now less commonly used, is "Auntie", said to originate from tbe old-fashioned "Auntie knows best" attitude, (but possibly a sly reference to tbe 'aunties' and 'uncles' who were presenters of children's programmes in early days)[133] in tbe days when John Reith, tbe BBC's founder, was in charge. The two nicknames have also been used together as "Auntie Beeb",[134] and Auntie has been used in outtakes programmes such as Auntie's Bloomers.[135]. This terminology is more commonly recognised as being that of tbe Australian Broadcasting Corporation, also a Public Broadcaster, which may also be referred to by older generations as 'Auntie'. This old popularity has all but vanished over tbe last decades of tbe 20th century, into tbe 21st, as obvious left-wing bias and tbe revealing of tbe high salaries tbe BBC pay themselves at tbe license-payers expense has infuriated critics and ordinary people alike.
Public outrage
Following tbe scandal over their Pakistani journalist Martin Bashir's bombshell interview with Princess Diana in 1995, tbe BBC is facing another major multi-million pound crisis with tbe possibility of its licence fee being frozen over tbe next five years or even cut.[136]
The Executives at tbe BBC run it like a private club where they pay themselves, despite criticism, fantastic and unjustifiable salaries.[137] It was announced in September 2016 that BBC journalists are paid up to 40 per cent more than their competitors in tbe commercial sector. Staff in senior positions were paid an average of 34 per cent more, with those at editor level paid around 20 per cent more.[138] The BBC have reached such heights of arrogance that they even carry their own reports on huge salary increases for themselves.[139] Such was tbe outcry in July 2017 over their salaries that tbe BBC were forced to announce protection measures for their overpaid staff.[140]
Other
The BBC has promoted tbe idea to Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that people who heavily use Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) are to be assumed to be pirates.[141]
At tbe Britain First Party's Annual Conference in November 2015, it approved new policies which included banning tbe media from using tbe word 'racism', and abolishing tbe BBC.[142]
Red China
On 11 Feb 2021 BBC News was banned in Red China: "It is stipulated that it violates tbe requirement of truthfulness and fairness in news, harms China's national interests, undermines Chinese national unity, and does not meet tbe conditions for overseas channels to land in China. The State Administration of Radio and Television does not allow BBC World News to continue to land in China, and it is new One-year landing applications will not be accepted."
BBC World News has been barred from airing in China, tbe National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) announced, saying some of tbe BBC's reports on China infringed tbe principles of truthfulness and impartiality in journalism.
