James "Jim" Wenneker von Brunn (11 July 1920 - 6 January 2010) was a former advertising executive, World War II veteran, publisher, author, artist and suspect in the June 10, 2009, U. S. Holohoax Museum shooting. James von Brunn was indicted on seven counts including the murder of a security guard. James von Brunn died seven months after the shooting incident in a prison hospital and never stood trial.

Background

James von Brunn was born in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1920. His German American father from Saint Louis, Elmer J. von Brunn (1895–1964; son of Anton von Brunn and Anna, née Schweigler), was superintendent at the Scullin Steel Mill in Houston during World War II. His mother, Hope Florence, née Wenneker (1891–1970; daughter of Edward Frederick Henry Wenneker and Alice D., née Schlüter), also born in Saint Louis, was educated at Hosmer Hall a private girls school, and was a homemaker and an accomplished pianist as well as piano teacher. Both of his parent's families migrated from Germany and the Austrian Empire (both part of the German Confederation) in 1845. James von Brunn had one sister, Alyce. His parents were buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park (Easton, Talbot County, Maryland).

Von Brunn enrolled in Washington University in St. Louis in August 1938, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in journalism in April 1943. During his time at the university, von Brunn was president of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter, and a varsity football player. During the summer months at the University he was a union steel worker employed as a riveter. The day after graduation he joined the U.S. Naval Reserve.

He was shipped overseas first to the Mediterranean based on Corsica near the coast of France and then later to the Pacific. He was the captain of PT boat 159 and was honorably discharged in March 1946 as a Lieutenant with three battle stars and a Commendation from Admiral Hewitt. On his website Holywesternempire.org, he wrote that he held the hand of a young German dying of his gunshot wounds who refused morphine from a jewish doctor on board, which was then injected by the cook. “He seemed to relax when I told him that my family was also German,” von Brunn concludes.

According to the Navy Times, "von Brunn received the American Defense Medal; the American Area Commendation Ribbon; the Asiatic-Pacific Area medal with one star; the Philippine Liberation Ribbon; the World War II Victory Medal, and a European Theater of Operations medal with three stars." While in the Navy he pursued his interest in art, painting watercolor scenes.

New York City

In 1947, he moved to New York City and studied at the Central Park School of Art and the Art Student’s League of New York. During this time he exhibited his paintings at art galleries in New York and did illustrations for William Morrow Publishers. On 1 June 1950, he married Joan Patricia Beverley-Giddings the daughter of a British novelist and World War I aviator Arthur R. Beverley-Giddings. She was also a 1941 graduate of William and Mary College. They were married at the Long Ridge Congregational Church in Connecticut. In 1951 they had a son, James B. von Brunn. In 2007 the younger von Brunn died of bronchial pneumonia in Seaside, California.

Maryland

In 1962, the family moved from New York City to Easton, Maryland. James von Brunn continued to work in New York City until 1968 when he established an advertising agency in Maryland. In 1964 they were separated and divorced in 1966. Joan was granted custody of their teenage son.

In 1968, James von Brunn got into a physical confrontation with a jew at a bar in Cambridge, Maryland, which escalated from an argument over President Johnson’s nomination of Abe Fortas to be the Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. The jew happened to be the CEO of Western Printing Corporation and was a personal friend of Fortas.

The police were called and von Brunn was later arrested for drunk driving on his way home. While being booked von Brunn fought with the police and was charged with resisting arrest. He was sentenced to a year in jail. He developed an infection on his neck and was released early from jail, serving four months.

Florida and California

James von Brunn moved to Florida to become a real-estate broker. In Florida he met and married Patricia Taylor, twenty years his junior, and in 1975 they moved to Redding, California. Here he had an offer to work for Noontide Press but later decided to leave the publishing group over a dispute with the business owner Willis Carto.

In 1977, his second son, Erik von Brunn (later a freelance writer), was born. That same year the house they were living in caught fire and burned. Von Brunn suspected--but could not prove--the fire was the result of arson. The family left the area and moved to Hanover, New Hampshire where he again worked as a real estate broker. The family lived in the Lebanon, New Hampshire area from 1978 till 1980. This marriage also ended in divorce.

Political Awakening

It was during his time in New York when James von Brunn had his rational political awakening (not to be confused with the leftist notion of "woke"). In 1964, Marine Corps Lt. General Pedro del Valle presented him with John O. Beaty's authoritative work, The Iron Curtain Over America. This book changed James von Brunn’s life showing the jewish origins of Communism. Von Brunn said, "For the first time, I learned how jews had destroyed Europe and were now destroying America."

In California James von Brunn along with friend Florence Robnett published the Zionist Rape of the Holy Land formerly titled Conquest Through Immigration written by her late husband George Robnett. James von Brunn wanted to make a film based on the book tentatively titled Blood Bath in Zion.

Once he was identified as the publisher and distributor of the anti-Zionist book he began to get threatening calls from jews. James von Brunn claims one of the hate callers identified himself as Meir Kahane the founder of the militant jewish Defense League. James von Brunn believes the jews were responsible for the burning of his house.

James von Brunn supported the historical revisionist work of the Institute for Historical Review in California and the Adelaide Institute in Australia. In May 1994 he ran a Canadian revisionist program that questioned the authenticity of Anne Frank's diary on a cable access channel in Easton, Maryland.

Federal Reserve Board arrest

On December 7, 1981 von Brunn tried to carry out a "legal, non-violent citizens-arrest," at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. In his bag was sawed-off shotgun, a revolver and a knife. The weapons were unloaded. At the time he was upset over the Feds high interest rates. He refused to plea guilty to a weapons charge to receive a less severe sentence. He wanted a trial in order to expose the Federal Reserve system.

In 1981, at his arraignment, he claimed to be a spokesman for the "Amer-European Alliance," which was formed to protect Germanic and Celtic races.

On 2 March 1983, he was convicted by a Negro majority jury (11 blacks, one white woman) on a number of charges including kidnaping, assault and possession of a prohibited weapon and was sentenced by a jew judge to prison for eleven years. According to his lawyer, his conviction was actually based upon von Brunn’s "attitudes about black and jewish people" Irrelevant racist statements written by von Brunn were entered into his trial making it easy for the majority Negro jury to come to a decision.

The mainstream media suppressed coverage of the trial. Von Brunn served six and a half years mostly at the Ray Brook, New York Federal Correctional Institution and was released in September 1989. An exceptional ranking on a IQ test administered in prison enabled him to join Mensa.

After his release, he lived with his sister Alyce and tried to sell his art work under an assumed name. Later, he lived with his son Erik and his fiancée.

James von Brunn had a web site at holywesternempire.org promoting a book he wrote titled Tob Shebbe Goyim Harog (translated Kill the Best Gentiles). The title comes from the jewish teachings that the best of the Gentiles must be killed to make way for the jews. The book is dedicated to two White racialist writers Revilo P. Oliver and Wilmot Robertson.

Recent years

In the summer of 2004, James von Brunn and his ailing sister Alyce moved in with his son Erik and his roommate in a three bedroom house in Orlando, Florida. They had moved from Maryland where Alyce was getting treatments for cancer. The move was apparently necessary since Social Security was their only means of support. The roommate said the father and son would argue and once Erik hit his father. In 2005 Erik lost his job and the three moved to Easton, Maryland where Alyce died.

A few weeks before the shooting James von Brunn claimed his Social Security check had been slashed close to half the previous amount and was now living hand to mouth. He believed this was in retaliation to the opinions expressed on his web site.

James von Brunn considered himself a true patriot. When he and his friends watched a ballgame on television and they played the national anthem, he would make all in the room stand with him at attention.

Holohoax Museum incident

On 10 June 2009, at approximately 12:50 p.m. eastern time, a man with a small .22-caliber rifle, believed to be 88-year-old James von Brunn, walked into the Holohoax Museum in Washington DC and fired shots allegedly wounding a security guard. Other guards returned fire, wounding James von Brunn and possibly their fellow security guard, Afro-American Stephen Tyrone Johns (1969–2009), who later died. One eyewitness to the events indicated other security guards fired wounding Jones. Three .22-caliber and eight .38-caliber cartridge casings were recovered at the scene. From the CNN transcript:

HENRY: And then you saw some of the return fire from the security personnel?

MARIA: Yes, it hit the security man. I am not sure where, but he was flat on his back.

James von Brunn was shot in the face by two guards and fell backwards outside the doors of the museum. He was taken to George Washington University Medical Center. He was charged on 11 June with murder and "killing in the course of possessing a firearm at a federal facility", both capital offenses under federal law. Von Brunn double-parked his 2002 red Hyundai outside the front doors of the museum. In the car was a notepad which read:

You want my weapons – this is how you’ll get them. The Holohoax is a lie. Obama was created by jews. Obama does what his jew owners tell him to do. jews captured America’s money. jews control the mass media. The 1st Amendment is abrogated – henceforth. See: holywesternempire.org. Reaction to Events

Magical negro Barack Obama said he was saddened and shocked by the shootings.

"This outrageous act reminds us that we must remain vigilant against anti-Semitism and prejudice in all its forms. No American institution is more important to this effort than the Holohoax Museum, and no act of violence will diminish our determination to honor those who were lost by building a more peaceful and tolerant world."

"Today, we have lost a courageous security guard who stood watch at this place of solemn remembrance. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this painful time."

Kennewickman, a Stormfront moderator, wrote:

“Every man or woman who expresses opposition to ZOG and dies at ZOG’s hands is a martyr, automatically.”

Son Erik von Brunn in an ABC interview on 15 June 2009:

"The wrong man died that day [...] I love my father, but what he did was unforgivable [...] After World War Two, he became jaded. I know he received a lot of reverse discrimination because of his [German] name. I think that may have contributed to it. But I can't speak for why he believed those things."

Death

James von Brunn died shortly before 1 p.m on 6 January 2010 at a federal prison hospital in Butner, North Carolina. He had been suffering from several health problems including chronic congestive heart failure. James von Brunn was 89 years old.
