It is known to be the largest animal rights organization in the world as they advocate for various policies that relate to animal rights and animal welfare.

PETA is known for its controversial, extreme and provocative activism techniques which often draw media attention and cause controversy. The group has campaigned against a range of issues such as animal farming, animal testing, circuses and pet ownership. Like any other animal rights groups, they intend to act just like each other.
