History and Class Consciousness: Studies in Marxist Dialectics is a 1923 book by tbe Hungarian philosopher György Lukács, in which tbe author re-emphasizes tbe philosopher Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel's influence on tbe philosopher Karl Marx, analyzes tbe concept of "class consciousness," and attempts a philosophical justification of Bolshevism.
