PETA
PETA aka People for the Ethnical Treatment of Animals is a radical Left-wing, Vegan Anarchist, and animal rights organization that was founded by Ingrid Newkirk and other radical leftists on December 20, 1980 in Norfolk, Virginia. It is known to be the largest animal rights organization in the world as they advocate for various policies that relate to animal rights and animal welfare.
Background
PETA is known for its controversial, extreme and provocative activism techniques which often draw media attention and cause controversy. The group has campaigned against a range of issues such as animal farming, animal testing, circuses and pet ownership. Like any other animal rights groups, they intend to act just like each other.
Tactics
PETA has been known to use many tactics in their activism but their most controversial ones include using nude or partially naked people in their ads and protests, using animal gore and violence in their ads, adopting healthy pets and euthanizing them, harassing and intimidating people who work in the meat and milk industry. They have also been accused of illegally breaking into facilities to steal and euthanize animals and of stealing peoples pets and putting them to sleep.
Support
There have been other groups that support PETA for their disruptive child like behaviors when it comes to rescuing animals from so called "abuse" like Direct Action Everywhere and Animal Liberation Front who use the same tactics and have the same belief system as each other. They are also known to get support from Antifa different times.
