Calvin Coolidge (4 July 1872 β 5 January 1933), in full John Calvin Coolidge, was the president of the United States from 1923 to 1929.
Despite various pro-Black and pro-Amerindian actions, (leftist) historians rank him rather lowly, possibly in part due to right-wing economic policies, but likely especially because of the Immigration Act of 1924.
