Dr. Martin Luther Thomas was a 1930s evangelical preacher from San Pedro, California who launched a fascist-style organization called the Christian American Crusade.[1] He was a Presbyterian pastor who delivered sermons over Los Angeles radio station KHY on a daily basis. In private talks for his most committed followers he issued warnings against the jews and Communists that he claimed were taking over America.

His movement’s official newspaper was The Christian American Crusader.

Thomas moved from Chicago to Los Angeles in 1924. He became an investigator for the Los Angeles City Attorney's office.[2]
