Western Destiny
Western Destiny (June 1964 to 1966) was a white racialist magazine published by Willis Carto's Noontide Press. The publication printed three volumes between June 1964 and March 1966, for a total of twenty issues. A range of topics were covered throughout the journal including anthropology, biology, history, philosophy, and politics.
History
Carto wrote for the magazine under the name E. L. Anderson.[1] In 1965, the editor was Roger Pearson. Pearson was the author of Eugenics and Race and editor of the magazine Northern World which can be seen as the predecessor of Western Destiny.
The publication maintained a bookstore, from which readers could chose from the many rare and difficult to find titles in their catalog.[2]
The publication promoted the philosophy and ideology of Francis Parker Yockey and his work Imperium. Western Destiny closed when Willis Carto gained and controlled the prestigious magazine The American Mercury in 1966.
On 22 November 2022, Folktrove announced that they had completed digitization of the entire collection of Western Destiny, making the rare journal widely available to the general public.[3]
